Our Environmental Health Practitioner will visit your hospitality business and talk through the food safety policies best suited to your activities. We will then document your safe methods to meet UK legal requirements and provide you with all the food safety paperwork required. We also assess the suitability of your premises set-up for hygienic food service and provide a written report with any recommendations for improvement.
This book documents all your food safety policies - from the criteria you use to select your suppliers, to the temperatures food is cooked to. Our EHP will talk through the safe methods recommended by the Food Standards Agency (FSA), so you can decide whether to adopt these methods or tell us your alternative way. If you present alternative safe methods, we can advise on their suitability.
Whether you operate a typical hospitality business or offer something a little different, we will provide the legally required assessment based on HACCP principles. Many activities can be assessed using the simplified method advocated by the FSA, but if you prepare food that is higher risk (such as oysters or steak tartare), we will complete a full HACCP assessment.
